Forth Terminator gets new name. It will be called Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins. Filming is said to begin this May. Christian Bale is said to be portraying John Connor. Reese, one of the children who survived a machine-driven nuclear holocaust, befriends Marcus (Sam Worthington), an early edition of the Terminator cyborg played in previous films by Arnold Schwarzenegger. In "Salvation," the character is a young version of the one played by Michael Biehn, who traveled back in time in the original to impregnate Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton) and father the world's future savior. The film picks up with their son (Bale), now in his 30s, fighting desperately to save a decimated civilization against machines that have taken control. It's unclear if the father and child reunion is only a cyborg motion away in the new film.Halcyon's Victor Kubicek and Derek Anderson are producing with Moritz Borman. David Campbell Wilson, John Brancato and Michael Ferris wrote the screenplay. Principal photography is set to begin in early May.Yelchin ("Charlie Bartlett") will next be seen as Chekov in J.J. Abrams' "Star Trek" for Paramount. He is repped by CAA and attorney David Weber.

A new horror torture flick tittled "Funny Games" is being released tomorrow. The movie is said to be a like it/hate it film. Its either one or the other, no in between. The movie is said to be an Anti-Hostel. Anyone who likes Hostel will hate it, as anyone who hated Hostel will love it. Its a movie thats going to split audiances. I dont know whether this is going to be a good thing or a bad thing. I guess well just have to find out when the reviews come in.

New information on the Cloverfield monster nicknamed "Clover" has been released. It turns out that a very important aspect of the creature has been cut out. It has a retractable feeding tube that comes out of its underbelly to catch prey. And the smaller creatures are said to have not been the creatures offspring but parasites that were feeding off the monster. The reason why they all disattached themselves from Clover is because a new food source was discovered... humans.

The still untittled X Files 2 film is said to have proven all rumers false. The rumer that Agent Mulder was to become a werewolf is false, as well as pictures of Agent Scully and Mulder romantically kissing. The kiss was said to be staged for the paparrzzi. This movie is still being kept very secret but hopefully some information will be released soon, at least the plot.

The new cult classic "The Decent" has just announced their making a sequel. Now the first film was simple and original. But here we go again with companies wanting to make a couple more bucks off of a good. thing. The first movie was a good idea, and good movie. I just read the entire synopsis of it, with spoilers included, and this seems like its the same idea, but a bad movie. They've changed the chilling ending to the original to accompany this new sequel. Now its not being done by the same people who did the first one. Now if this was like from "Alien" to "Aliens" it would be a good move. Its the same premises but out beats the original with its new amazing story, but for the "De2ent", its just not working. It sounds hollow, poorly thought out, and seems as if it was written fast so they could make some dough off of it before people forget the first one. God damn Hollywood.

Darren Lynn Boissman's Repo! The Genetic Opera is strangely getting positive praise. Although i hate Darren as a Director, and a writer, several reviews of the film have given Darren alot of credit. Now i hate Darren because i think he ruined the "Saw" franchise and I'm sooo glad he's not returning for the 5th one, but apparently Repo! is a good movie. Now ive seen the trailer, and it looks horribly stupid, but maybe it might, just maybe, be okay. We'll have to find out as more reviews of Repo! hit our computer monitors!

A new picture has surfaced supposidly from the X-Files movie of agent Molder looking as a werewolf! Now i dont know if this pic is real but it sure looks authentic. A new poster has surfaced of the new mummy movie. Its the mummy 3, and the poster looks so much similar to the "Mortal Combat" logo.

The Decade Of Remakes [Friday the 13th, Child's Play, Hellraiser, and The Poltergeist]

Platinum Dunes has officially announced that they are planning on releasing the remake of 'Friday the 13th' film on February 13th 2009. This means that the film will be out just in time for next Valentine's Day. The film is a remake to try and reboot the old film franchise. Jason Vorheese's costume is said to already be equipped with the infamous Hockey mask and his outfit is said to be more green for an eerie aquatic look for his tragic drowning he suffered. The company, Platinum Dunes, is the same company that did the remakes of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Amittyville Horror, The Hitcher, and so on. The script is being penned by the writer of the remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. This means that the film should be in good hands.

A remake of Chucky is now underway as well. I'm guessing the 2000's is just the time for remakes. The film is being recreated by the original creator. Why the same man would go back and try to remake his own movie is beyond me. I guess he just ran out of ideas for sequels, of course after Seed Of Chucky, someone had to put a stop to it. So to continue on for the money, they are remaking Child's' Play. Lets hope they go back to their scary roots and not lean towards stupid comedy so much.

A remake of Hellraiser is underway as well. Just like Childs Play, it is being reinvented by its own creator. Clive Barker, a brilliant writer who created Hellraiser, is going to make a remake of his own original. The difference between the Hellraier remake and the Childs Play remake is that i trust Barker. I think he will allow Pinhead to instill the fear in us once again. I don't think Childs Play will put that fear in us again like it once did. But i do believe that since Barker is taking over again, Hellraiser will once again chill us to our horror loved bones.

Since this is the decade of remakes, i've come to find out that they are remaking Steven Speilburg and Tobe Hoopers classic ghost film The Poltergeist. The classic movie is getting a remake just like every other old movie tha0t made us jump. So what will they remake next? I dont know...Another remake? But look out for a new Poltergeist as well.

Nightmare On Elm Street Remake

They are remaking Nightmare On Elm street. The classic horror film about a rapist who returns to haunt the dreams of the desendants of the people that burned him alive. Now the old NIGHTMARE didnt give alot of back story, as this one is to. Now i dont know about you, but learning more about Freddy's back story will be cool. And if they replace the classic Freddy with a new person, than im fine with that. I mean i didnt think anyone could have done as great of a job as Jack Nickolson as the Joker in Batman, but then i saw Heath Ledger as the Joker in the Dark Knight trailer and i was blown away. Yes, i know we cant imagine a NIGHTMARE movie without the classic Freddy, but sometimes we need a change. The old Freddy was great, he was a classic, and he will always be a classic, but its time for a change. Its time to reinvent and to reboot the NIGHTMARE franchise. This means to start fresh. And yes this means to start fresh with a new Freddy but oh well. At least were getting another NIGHTMARE movie. And now that we have better technology, it can look cooler than ever! So dont dis the new remake. Change could be for the best. It could be like Heath ledger as the new Joker as Nicklson to the old Joker. For all we know, it could be an even better performance. So shut up and give the new NIGHTMARE film a chance!

Horror Fans Everywhere...

Diary Of The Dead

Good news zombie fans. George A Romero's Diary Of The Dead gets good reviews! It hits theaters tomorrow but horror critics are eating it up. Apparently its not as good as we were hoping to come from Romero, but its better than Land Of The Dead. Now dont get me wrong, Land was an okay movie, but nothing more than just an okay movie. George left the corporate machine that made him propduce the negativly rated Land Of The Dead and he returned to his indie roots with a low budgeted horror flick that should delight the zombie fans. Now its not as good as the three Deads, but will anything ever be? Its supposed to be a good zombie movie, and thats all that matters to me, Because we all know that not very many good zombie movies are made anymore. So its by the zombie creater and master George A Romero so go support the Dead community and watch it.

Saw V

Saw's new director has talked about some of the new traps. He said the trap designers are looking at actual death traps and real things that kill people and are planning on incorporating tham into the film. He said that the traps they are biulding can actually kill the actotrs! Every scene now has to be filmed with parametics on scene in case something goes wrong! Now it might be just me but, i think thats bad ass! Knowing that the traps are actually and realistiaclly dangerous instead of a half assed trap that some guy pulled out of his ass will make the scenes alot more intense! So if the traps are as cool and dangerous as the new director made them sound, then Saw V might actually be a movie worth watching!

Article Reviews For Computer Class

Making Sense of Freeware, Open Source, and Shareware Article

The article goes to talk about things that are free over the internet. It talks about how they say things are free, but nothing is ever free. Either you have to pay cash, or you could get viruses. Free usually means inferior. In the upside-down world of software, free often means superior. If your nonprofit is on a tight technology budget, freeware and Open Source software can be the answer to getting some great applications without spending a cent. It is important to note that some free software may require a computer science degree to install, and a Web site or e-mail listserv may be the only place for you to get help. So go forth in the pursuit of the free with a little caution. While the idea has been around since the inception of computers, free software is becoming more and more widely available as the Internet increases in popularity. From compressing files to serving Web pages, you can now find free programs that will perform virtually any application with varying degrees of success.

Freeware vs Shareware vs Open Source Article #2

People always get freeware and shareware mixed up. And the word 'freeware' has been way overused and has no real meaning anymore. It can be downloaded, used, and copied without any restrictions. The difference, legally, between freeware and open source, is that yiou cannot get the source code from freeware. Organizationally, this makes a big difference: There is no community and no development infrastructure around "freeware" as there is around open source software. Thus, while you can use freeware "as is," there is no real way to improve upon it or obtain support for it.Thus, freeware is "free" as in those "Free Treadmill" classified advertisements. Shareware is a different concept. You can download and try shareware for free, but if you use it, you are supposed to pay for it. It is developed and released by someone who keeps full control of the intellectual property. The user does not have access to the source code and cannot modify it. There is also no collaboration or community around shareware. In the end, the only difference between shareware and commercial software is that you can download and try shareware for free. Like commercial software, you are utlimately dependent on the developer of shareware for enhancements and support. Thus, shareware is "free" as in "Free Sample" at restaurants or grocery stores.

Video Game Talk

what to say?...

Well the only cool news i have about now is the kick ass new game called Rock Band. I bought the special Edition for the X Box 360 which includes a guitar, drum set, and a microphone. It is very very addicting and it wears you the hell out. Your hands throb and blister from the drums, your voice becomes course and sore from the microphone, and your finger aches from the guitar. But you cant stop playing it. Yoy just need to get more fans and more money!

Another cool game thats kinda old is Halo 3. It is probably the funnest game you will ever play on live next to Call Of Duty 4. The maps are cool along with the weaponry. and i love to kick peoples asses after they talk mess over their mic's.

Another video game, of which i am dying to play is Resident Evil 5. But it sucks cause it wont be released until 2010. Ive been waiting for this game since like 2004! It looks so kick ass though. The graphics are amazing, although the story doesnt sound too cool. It might take place after the events of Resident Evil 4, but who knows...

Speaking of zombie games, another game im dying to play is a multiplayer zombie survival game called Left 4 Dead. I think its one of the only multiplayer zombie games. Yet it sucks cause its not coming out til around June...

Im also dying to play Kane and Lynch. Its a multiplayer buddy cop game that is a first person shooter. I alos really want to play Mass effect. As well as Gears Of War, but i just dont feel like paying for all of them so im just waiting for the prices to go down.

Saw V, Grindhouse 2, Sin City 2

The Saw franchise may be taking a break for a while. The writers are saying they dont have enough time to come up with a good story and be able to film it in the amount of time the studio wants, to release it by next Halloween. They were talking about shooting V and VI at the same time, and have them released in a few years. Now although the break would possibly make the series alot better, and alot more thought out, this would be the first year wihtout a new Saw movie since 2004. This may upset alot of the fans, but it may be best for the series. I mean theyve already made 4 movies and they still want to make 3 more. They must be running low on material, and need time to rethink the series out, and see where they really want to take it. If Saw needs a few years to rethink things, than thats fine with me. It would make it a better movie. I'd rather wait a couple years to see a thought out movie, than just another rushed sequel so they can make more money.

Robert Rodriguez has talked about Grindhouse 2. He wants to do a full length movie of his fake trailer "machette". The other doubled-feature movie he wanted for it is a movie about the sexy baby sitter twins. So instead of Tarantino doing the other feature, he'd like to do both. eli Roth also showed interest in making his fake trailer "Thanksgiving" into a Gindhouse film, but instead is making "Trailer Trash" in which hes just going to make a whole bunch of fake trailers and turn it into a movie. Rob Zombie also said he wanted to make a grindhouse movie of his fake trailer called "Werewolf Women Of The SS". But which movies have been chosen to be made for Grindhouse 2 is still unknown.

Sin City two is now on delay thanks to Robert Rodriguez. Even though he said it was the Weinstein brothers fault for the delay, it is actually because he is taking time to film his new movie Barberella. Bruce Willis will not be back but Johny Depp has said to be rumered to be attached to the project.

Hollywood Remakes and sequels

Hollywood Cant Produce Originals Anymore...

I was looking at upcoming movies and i was shocked at how many remakes and sequels they are making. For example: Cloverfield, a movie that seems like a one time monster movie, is coming out with a sequel. The huge twist in Cloverfield that noone knows yet, is that the monster was only a baby. Cloverfields sequel is going to be about its mother. Now how unoriginal is that? Thats not a twist. Its just an excuse for a sequel.

There remaking Hellraiser. Now that movie has about twenty sequels and prequels, so why the hell does Hellraiser need to be remade? Same thing with the Friday The 13th their remaking. It has about ten sequels and prequels. Plus there remaking Nightmare On Elm Street. Why redo all of these movies?! Their classics with a hundred sequels. Its all the same crap over and over again.

There remaking Wolfman, The Creature From The Black Lagoon, It Came From Outer Space, Bad Seed, The Birds, Evil Dead, The Thing. all of these movies are classics. why ruin them with shitty remakes?! I mean damn. And you ruin series with sequels and prequels. I mean look at Saw. Every Saw movie makes me hate the franchise a little more.

Final Destination, The Grudge, The Ring, Are just a few of the series of movies that have been ruined with sequels. Also like Nightmatre On Elm Street, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Friday The 13th, The Exorcist, Poltergeist, Ect. These are all movies that Hollywood has now ruined for me. Hollywood is drying up with all of these sequels and remakes. You cant reuse ideas froever. Its only a matter of time before they are drained dry, and Hollywood goes down forever...

Rammstein's New Album

Rammstein Fans:

In 2007 Rammstein.De stated that they hadv come off their one year break and are heading back to the studio to start their sixth studio album. Now it is unkown when this will come out but keyboardist Christian Flake Lorenz has stated that they are hoping for a 2008 relsease! now we all know that Rammstein albums take a long time to make. I mean they even go up to 4 years! So were hoping this project wont be as long as the others. I dont know about you, but two years without new Rammstein material is long enough!

German rapper Bushido said that we just recently got done with Rammstein recording a song tittled "Vergiss Uns Nicht" (Dont Forget Us). He said he wasn't sure if this would be on Rammsteins "best of" album. Yet Rammstein still hasnt even mentioned a best of album. Could this possibly be their new project? Is that why it was created so fast?... I dont know, but all i know is i need some new mtaerial.

According to guitarist Paul Landers, Rammsteins new album is going to be alot harder than all the rest. Now i dont know about you guys, but i think Rammsteins old albums were hard enough. With their hard riffs, and blunt lyrics, with the rugged vocals, i dont know how much harder you can get. I mean "Herzeleid"was hard because the riffs and the mean lyrics. Till Lindemann spoke the words. But when "Senhsucht" came along, he began to sing, and thats why it seemed softer, but kept the blunt lyrics, and hard riffs.

Now i think Rammstein can pull off hard metal songs like "Mein Teil" as well as very soft love songs like "Ohne Dich". Now I love the way Rammstein does soft songs, i like them a little more than their hard songs. So to hear their new album is going to be even harder than their previous albums kinda bums me a little. I mean i like the way "Rosenrot" mixed soft with hard. It was a giant headbanging melody. So i dont know about this new album, but since its Rammstein, i trust them with all my music life...

Privacy Info Over The Internet

Freeware Vs. Shareware

The article states that there are alot of cheap and free softwares avaliable for download off of the internet. It talks that it is hard to not use the freeware and shareware, as it is always offered to you from the internet. But there are bad things about it too. You can get bad things from different things, so it is advised that you only use well known software with good reputations.

Electronic Commerce

When you buy something from a commercial website, you most likely have to use a credit card. This means that you are putting your credit card info and number over the internet. Now although alot of people do this, alot of people dont think it is safe. The thing is, hackers can steal your numbers and use them to buy things, at your own expense. Now although there are security locks on your credit numbers, hackers have been known to break through them. Now although Government and Buissnesses encourage online buying, consumers still hessitate at the threat of online hackers. Now people think the internet needs way more personal info than you do at an over the counter purchase. People fear their personal information will be re-used by someone else.

Privacy Threats On The Web

When you are on the internet, you may think that you are inknown, but there are a few ways that your information about you and your activities can be taken without your knowledge or your consent. This is due to a list of things like: Cookies, HTTP, Browsers, Search Engines, E-Mail, Downloading Freeware or Shareware, Electronic Commerce, Cryptography, Spam, and Relay Chat.

E-Mail, Cryptography, Spam, Internet Relay Chat

These are all ways hackers can steal your personal information. They can take things from your recent activities on the internet to your purchases, and even your credit card and social security number. They can place virises onto your computer which can seriously damage it. It can make it run slow, make programs not work properly, if at all, and can even cause your entire computer to crash. They can buy things in your name, at your expense. They can use your name to do illegal activities. In any which case, it is not good for you.

"Trailer Trash"

Eli Roth has now "accidentally" leaked some information about his new film tittled " Trailer Trash". It is an entire movie filled with fake trailers. He said that he has lots of movie ideas that would absolutely ruin him. So this is his one way to make those horrible movies. He says the best part is that in the trailers, all you need to film is just the best parts of the movies without all the bs in between. Its like your making an entire film, but just all the best parts of it.

The info he leaked about trailer trash is that he's going to do another one of his "Thanksgiving" commercial, which he had previously shot for the "Grindhouse" film. He also said hes making a trailer called "Nascar Dog". Its about a Nascar driver who gets injured, so they replace the driver with A dog. It sounds very stupid, but when he says it, it sounds absolutely hilarious.

Another trailer info he leaked was one called "Farmagedon". Its about farm animals who get fed up with the way there treated, and decide to take action against humanity. He described all the different ways he wants the animals to take revenge against the humans. And as stupid as it sounds, once again, Roth sells it.

Now all these ideas sound very immature and like they were concocted by a very intellectually handicapped person, but the thing is, Roth is the 51st smartest man i Hollywood. So if anyone could pull off these crazy Cartoon Network ideas, it would have to be Roth. So its no wonder why Roth says dong those ideas into feature films would ruin him, there horrible! But for "Trailer Trash", they are gold!

Well thats it on Eli Roths new movie "Trailer Trash". When i get more info on it, i'll let you guys know!

Hollywood and Movies...

Cool...

Turns out that it wasn't suicide that killed Heath Ledger. And it wasn't cocaine. Now even though the autopsy said it was inconclusive as to what it was, it wasn't from any illegal substances. And the Dark Knight is in post production, which means Ledger was done filming all of his scenes. This means that i should still be able to watch the movie. So this knowledge is a relief.

I found out there making a Cloverfield 2. It kinda pissed me off. I mean number one was okay, theres no need to ruin it with a sequel. I dont know why Hollywood does that. They make good money off one idea, and they continue to keep pushing out sequel after sequel hoping to make more. It gets tiring after a while...

I just watched Saw IV for the second time. I realized how much Hollywood is like a machine. They make big bucks and mass produce sequel after sequel hoping to make more. Because of this, their making seven Saw movies. The first Saw was good, why couldn't they have just left it alone, you know?...

Director Eli Roth is supposed to be making a movie based on my favorite book by Stephen King called Cell. It is kinda a zombie book, and out of all directors i trust Eli most to make a good movie out of my favorite book. I mean he did Cabin Fever, Hostel, Hostel: Part II and he helped on Grindhouse, and all of those were excellent movies, so i trust he will make a good movie out of it.

M. Night Shymalane's new movie tittled The Happening is coming soon as well. It's Night's first R rated picture so im expecting alot from it. I mean he went down after The Village but i expect this film to put him back on the ball.

Hollywood needs to come up with some new material and fast. All they have been releasing are remakes, sequels, and movie adaptions of books and video games and comic books. Nothing is original anymore. Directors like Night, Speilberg, Roth, Tarantino, etc. need to start producing more material and fast. Hollywood is going down and audiances are loosing interest. All we have are remakes, sequels, and crappy American versions of old Japanese horror films. All i can say is that i want to be a director someday, but if Hollywood keeps going the way they are, then theres not going to be any Hollywood left to work in...

Bad News?...

Hmm...

I just recieved some bad news today...I got a text from my friend saying that the actor Heath Ledger has died. I didn't believe her. So i asked my dad and he answered with " Is that the 28 year old actor whose playing the Joker in the new Batman?" "yeah..." "Oh, he died from a cocaine overdose." I knew this couldnt be good...

The reason, is that i've been looking forward to this new Batman movie for years! Batman is my favorite super hero, and the Joker is my favorite villian. So the news of a darker version of Batman and the Joker was excellent! Now, although Ledger is not at the top of my favorite actors list, i still respect him very much. When i heard that he was portraying the new Joker, i knew he could do it. I watched the commercials and have seen the pictures of him as the Joker. He looks fantastic. He portrays the Joker greatly.

But now the thought of him being dead?! Is the movie finished?! Did he at least have the decency to finish the movie before overdosing on cocaine?! I mean millions of people are dying to watch this movie and now there is a chance that we might not because he had to commit suicide! I mean the very thought of not being able to watch the Dark Knight now is stomach churning! Years of anticipation built up for this one movie and it might all be ruined because one guy had to commit a selfish act of suicide because he was stressed about getting divorced.

Im mad because its not fair to the fans. Now there might be no Dark Knight, but even if there is, there will be no sequel that we were promised. In number three, the Joker is suppossed to be on trial and throws acid on Harvey Dent turning him into Two-Face. If theres no Joker to throw the acid, then that means theres no Two-Face villian for the third Batman movie! So either way, us fans are getting screwed over by it! Now i am sorry for Heath Ledger and his family. He left behind a three year old daughter. That means us fans aren't the only ones that are being left with nothing.

Talk about some bad news...
